Wine-making at El Mirador in Walla Walla
I took a trip over to Walla Walla back in Nov of 2005 to visit my friends, Joe and Amy Donnow from El Mirador Winery - I went for “moral support” during the crushtime. What you’ll see in the pictures are the grapes being put into the hopper machine which crushes them and seperates the stems, then into a punch-down machine (custom-made by Joe).

Welcome to WineFoot.com by the way.
Joe has opened a new tasting room on 2nd in Preston Winery’s old location. You should be able to find out if he has a phone number.
We are having a wine tasting at the White Buffalo wine shop in Hood River with him this week from 5-7. 541-386-5534
I too pre-purchased wines last year and have yet to receive them and am having difficulty reaching Joe or anyone there. Would love new contact information if someone has it, please pass along to me. Thanks.
