Oregon has been known to many here in the northwest for making outstanding Pinot Gris so I was excited to try this one from Seven of Hearts as I know their winemaker is extremely passionate about producing Oregon varietals that express the terroir of the vineyards and regions they are grown in.

Nose: Citrus, green apple core, baking spices, kiwi, grapefruit pulp and lemon zest.
Taste: Very nice tropical and citrus fruits combine with a stellar mouth-feel, acids and finish that make this Pinot gris a no-brainer pick for artichokes, and lemon-rosemary risotto with chicken.
