Joy Anderson is one of the State of Washington’s most under rated winemakers. Her wines constantly win critical acclaim and have a loyal fan base of people who appreciate good quality to price ratio. The Reserve wines are priced at $20, have good availability and generally very solid wines that should be sought out by wine lovers everywhere.

Technical Data:

  • Fermentation: 7 days on skins, using Prisse de Mousse yeast
  • Acidity: 0.55 g/100mL
  • pH: 3.75
  • Alcohol: 14.5%
  • Blend: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Price: $20

Nose: Pipe tobacco, star anise, allspice, raspberries, black cherry, leahter and cola.

Taste: Delicious red fruit and spice lead into soft tannins to creat a lucious mid-palate with has enough structure to let you know it’s serious but gentle enough to appease most wine lovers who like that “velvet glove” sort of feeling. Nice lingering finish hangs outs a long time.
