Perrier Jouet Champagne Grand Brut – Review

By Duane Pemberton

Perrier Jouet is a classic producer of Champagne that was founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas-Marie. It now produces over 3 million bottles annually and is enjoyed around the world. In this review, I take a look at its Grand Brut style bubbly:

Nose: I get a good amount of floral action leaping out of the glass along with a touch of ginger, citrus (pineapple) and pineapple.

Taste: A very dry, refreshing champagne that delivers floral, tropical fruit in spades. Good acids across the mid palate that lead into a luscious mouthfeel and finish.
