- Fuji (or jonagold) apples, quartered
- Bacon
- Brown Sugar
- Crushed almonds
- Fresh Rosemary
Cut apples into quarters and remove the core.
Take a fresh rosemary sprig, place it into the apple quarter and wrap with bacon and then sprinkle a bit of brown sugar on top.
Roast in the oven at 425 for approximately 20 minutes or until the apples have softened.
Plate and top with crushed almonds.
Wine pairing recommendations: A semi-sweet riesling, a late harvest muscat or off-dry gewurztraminer.
