Funny- your website states "Stomping the snob out of wine" that is exactly what this store does. You complain about it being hard to find selections because you can't locate it by region... who's the snob? I find it very easy to find what I'm looking for the way they catagorize their selections and the owner has always steered me right when I explain my taste and what I like. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and are always greeted with a cheery hello the minute someone walks in the door. I find this store a delight, go see for yourselves.

Compass, great shop... euhhh wait that my brother in law....

Seriously, they are doing a great job. Great idea to review wine shops. What if we create a small online community that reviews wine shops accross the country?

That is a shame about this shop. I know exactly what you are talking about, I have been in similar shops. We are fortunate to have Compass Wines in Anacortes. If you ever get up north check it out. Very knowledgeable staff, good layout, no t-shirts or wine "gadgets".
